International Association of Pancreatology (IAP)

The International Association of Pancreatology (IAP) is a unique international organisation established in 1985. IAP provides a pivot and glues national and regional societies for the common cause of promoting Pancreatology throughout the world. It has a unique model where members of various national societies are accorded dual membership of IAP and the parent society. At present, it has >3500 members comprising of basic scientists and clinical investigators from 32 countries exploring pancreatic biology and pathophysiology in order to find newer treatment and improve outcomes for pancreatic disorders.

Indian Pancreas Club

IPC in association with International Association of Pancreatology (IAP) will be organising a joint conference "Pancreas 2023: Towards finding a cure for pancreatic disorders". The conference will be held in New Delhi India on 15-17th September 2023.

Research and Education in the field of Pancreatic diseases

Indian Pancreas Club (IPC) is dedicated to the research and education in the field of Pancreatic diseases to improve patient care and the quality of life.

IPC's mission is to advance and encourage the practice of Pancreatology in India, foster close relationship with other sister organizations in the world, and collaboration among researchers and clinicians, and enthuse young scientists/clinician for pancreatic research and education. We aim to benefit the public and society at large.

Young Investigator Award

Young investigator award (YIA) will be provided to international trainee and early career investigators who are within 5 years of completion of gastroenterology fellowship. $800 will be provided for travel with complimentary registration and meals. A total of 40 YIA will be provided. Those who are eligible for YIA are requested to click on the award request during abstract submission.

Prerequisite for YIA
  • Acceptance of abstract
  • Certificate from mentor stating International Trainee or early career investigator within 5 years of completion of training
  • In-person attendance
